Professional Support for Those Who Support Children & Families

Reflective supervision, consultation, & training

Supporting Those Who Support Others

Working with children and families is deeply meaningful—and at times, deeply demanding. Tapiz offers a protected space for professionals to slow down, reflect, and strengthen their practice. Whether you’re seeking supervision, consultation on complex cases, or specialized trainings for your team, we walk alongside you so you can stay grounded, sustain your passion, and provide more connected care.

Reflective Supervision

Supervision is more than case review — it’s a space to slow down, reflect, and strengthen your work with children and families. At Tapiz, reflective supervision offers a relationship-centered approach where you can:

  • Explore your experiences in the work with honesty and support

  • Deepen your understanding of child development, trauma, and attachment

  • Build confidence in your professional skills and decision-making

  • Sustain your passion and resilience in demanding roles

Pre-Licensed & Non-Licensed Supervision
Tapiz also provides supervision for professionals who are working toward licensure or who are in non-licensed roles but want to grow in reflective practice. Whether you’re an LSW, LPC, intern, or early-career professional, supervision is a protected space to build your clinical skills, process the challenges of the work, and feel supported as you develop your professional identity.

Getting Started
If you’re considering supervision, we can schedule a consultation to ensure it’s the right fit. This is your space to reflect, learn, and grow — so you can continue offering compassionate, connected care to the children and families you serve.

Professional & Agency Consultation

At times, complex cases or organizational challenges call for outside perspective. Tapiz provides consultation for individual providers and agencies, including:

  • Case consultation for child and family therapists

  • Guidance on trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive care

  • Organizational consultation to support program development and staff wellness

Together, we’ll create strategies that honor both the families you serve and the professionals who support them.

Parenting & Professional Trainings

Tapiz offers evidence-based programs that can be provided directly to parents or adapted for professional development:

  • Circle of Security® Parenting (COS-P): A relationship-based program to help parents strengthen attachment and connection with their children.

  • Circle of Security® Classroom (COS-C): A training for teachers and early childhood professionals to build strong, secure teacher–child relationships in educational settings.

  • Tuning Into Kids®: A program focused on building emotional intelligence in children through emotion-coaching strategies.

We also provide trainings on a range of topics, including:

  • Early childhood development

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Supporting immigrant families

  • Addressing challenging behaviors in children

  • Building resilience in staff and families
